🙋Lots of AI Jobs going on in California and other U.S. states.
California had the most AI job postings in 2022. They had 142K AI job postings in 2022 but many companies continue to flee California for Texas (#2 at 66K AI job postings) state for AI jobs. Shout out to my home state Utah (#29 on the list) - Utah is beautiful, still not overcrowded and everyone thinks we are Mormon, polygamists or both. Not everyone is like that but if that keeps the crowds away from Utah, so be it.
Read the full list HERE but know that in 2022 alone over 800K AI jobs were posted last year. Learn python, be curious about AI and go make it happen. According to Handshake (#1 college to career network platform), the top 5 areas for AI jobs are Healthcare, Finance, Supply Chain, Government and Human Resources.

Coffee Talk ☕
These days kids grab a Prime Energy drink before Gatorade or Mountain Dew. If you are raising a teenager OR you are a teenager OR you want to be a teenager, you have heard of the energy drink Prime. Started by BIG time social media influencers Logan Paul and KSI, these drinks have taken off. They are estimated to generate $250M in revenue.
But Mom’s and the FDA don’t approve. Prime’s Energy drink is on the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) list to investigate the potential dangerous levels of caffeine that the Prime Energy drink has.
Don’t worry kids, the FDA are the same people who allowed pharmaceutical companies to use aggressive marketing tactics to sell their cures drugs to potential users. Sadly it worked and America has a widespread opioid addiction problem that has led to deaths. The list goes on with FDA controversies. Research their role in how slow they were to regulate vaping and e-cigarettes for teenagers. It sounds like dirty money but I digress…
As reported on their website -” PRIME Energy provides the boost you need for any endeavor with zero sugar, 200mg of caffeine, and electrolytes. PRIME Energy is not recommended for children under the age of 18, women who are pregnant or nursing, or individuals who are sensitive to caffeine.”
The FDA recommends that you should not drink more than 400 milligrams of caffeine per day (about 4-5 cups of coffee per day). They actually recommend that some amount of caffeine can be good for grown adults.
Oh and speaking of caffeine - This newsletter is powered by 2-3 cups of coffee per day (French Press brewed Costa Rican freshly roasted by Sumato Coffee).
What does all this have to do with work and finding a job? Nothing but it’s reported that 7 out of 10 Americans use caffeine throughout their day and if you have ever been to a work meeting with no coffee or caffeinated beverages you will experience some irritated people.
Too much caffeine leads to excess nervousness, irritability, and frequent urination. If this is you, take action and drink water instead.
Don’t do PRIME kids. Stick to your Mom’s pancakes, a few sips of your Dad’s coffee and life will be great.
Congratulations to those who don't get blamed for mistakes at work...
HBR research shows that many people deal poorly with mistakes at work. It’s easy to blame someone on your team for a mistake but that helps no one and you will not learn from your mistakes.
88% of managers interviewed by an HBR study found that managers often make a mistake by ignoring or hiding their mistakes. Even worse, 78% of managers reported that avoiding blame for mistakes has a negative effect on their team’s productivity.
The next time you make a mistake, admit it, learn from it and move on.
Have you ever been blamed for something you didn’t do at work? You are probably not alone.
